we are here...

we are now living in idaho. the transition went very smoothly. we are really enjoying living closer to family and friends.

we went to the idaho state fair a couple of weeks ago...we usually go every year for the horse races. jentri loved the all the animals!

cody went to Long Beach, CA last week for a job interview...we are still waiting to hear back???

cody and I have been wanting to mountain bike on the Jackson Pass forever. we went last weekend. we loved it and just want to go back every weekend now! i know, i know...we do look pretty dorky in the helmets :)

changes...

Our life is a little crazy lately. Just last Wednesday we decided to put our house up for rent. On Thursday I put it on KSL and an hour later I started getting calls. We had it rented out by Saturday. We felt like it was a sign that we were making the best decision. The new tenants came by and signed the lease; it is a done deal starting September 1st. This is both bittersweet and exciting for us. It is hard to leave our first little home and our awesome neighborhood and ward. But sometimes you just have no other choice but to move on! It will be nice to be closer to our family and friends up in Idaho too! After MUCH prayer we decided this was going to be the best for us. We haven't decided on a for sure residence! So, if any of you Idahoans know of any good rentals in the Idaho Falls/Rexburg area send a comment my way! Here we come Idaho!

we went camping at Monte Cristo a couple weekends ago...it was a fun little family camping trip

Jentri LOVES going for bike rides! we went for a nice long ride on saturday. it really wore jentri and cody out,

our family movie night was a little tiring for them...

july 4th & more...

this is where we spent the last two weeks...

the 4th is one of our favorite times in the valley!

huntsman's springs provided an amazing program for the community...yes, this is glenn beck! he gave a great speech. it was very inspiring. the whole setting was very patriotic. it made you very proud to be an american! a BIG thank you to huntsman's!

easy peasy...

so i really like the fabric flower fad. but i just haven't broke down and actually spent money on them. however, i learned how to make them. believe me...it is so easy! i just practiced on some old black scrap material i had in my sewing box. now i just want to get some fun colors and make cute ones!

last weekend was so nice we just had to go to the lake! jentri also loves riding with her dad on his pontoon boat. all week she has kept saying, "dad. boat. vrrrrm (her expression for fast)"
